Ugrading

Why when I upgrading to Windows XP do all my programs
respond slower and I have more hung programs than I ever
did before. I thought this program was supposed
to "greatly" increase the performance of my computer.

This is very difficult for us to answer without knowing a lot more about
your system specs and how you did the upgrade.
