mouse pointer problem...

I have my mouse pointer on the middle of the screen but my
mouse is on the left hand side of my mouse-pad. I need to
move my pointer to the left of the screen but my mouse
will not go any further left, can someone please help...

Have you tried picking up your mouse, placing it on the right side of
your mouse pad, then moving it further to the left?
