Hi Rick- Actually if any file type which system restore protects (monitors
changes to) is recently deleted, and the associated restore point is
avaliable, System Restore will restore that file. The key is the file-type.
To see the list of what files (by extensions) are monitored/protected by SR
check out the list from the SDK documentation at:

Yes, thanks for adding that, but I'm pretty sure the OP was referring to =
non-system files (as he mentioned files deleted from the RB, which is =
certainly not where you would put a system file). But I could be =
wrong......
