Hi,
I had been recieving a stop error ever since I installed
new modem drivers. I followed the method described in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 307545.
I could reach upto the point where I could restore the
default backup of system32/config/ folders. However I
could not carry out part 3 neither or part4.
When I tried to copy the restore point files (RP*) the
system goes back to a stop error.
I have lost all my profiles,everything. I tried various
restore points some as back as "May" but the system still
goes to a blue screen.
Any help is appreciated. If you guys could mail me
offline too that would be appreciated...
