moving files from Me to xp

I recently upgraded from Me to xp. I use Netscape for my
browser and email. Netscape uses a different folder in xp,
so I want to copy my old files so I don't lose my old mail
messages and bookmarks. I tried just copying the files to
the new folder, but it didn't work.

On top of that, I have another problem. Yesterday I got the
infamous worm and dropped back to Me. Now I have mail
messages in both the xp and Me folders. Is there a way to
combine them?
