When the system is rebooting, hold down the F8 key. This
will take you to a menu. Safe Mode, Safe Mode Networking,
etc.
First, try the Last Known Good Configuration option. Once
you select it, then it will ask you which profile or
install do you want to use. Select the proper one
(probably only have one to choose from). Select it and
let the system boot. Before logging on...make sure the
system is at an idle state.
If that does not work, then try Safe Mode. This will
allow you to un-install what ever might have caused the
system to hang. For info on what made is hang...right-
click My Computer and select Manage. Look in the Event
Viewer under Application, Security, and System. Hope this
helps...
