Why are so many people asking about 32 or 64 bit system?

Just curious.......Why are so many people asking about 32 or 64 bit system?
Is there a software patch or something of that nature that is making them
ask this?

Yes, George. I haven't seen it myself and don't recall where they said it
is, but one pathway through the Windows Update passes a window that offers a
different option for 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

Of course, there are very few 64-bit PCs out there these days, and those
that exist cost a TON of money. Anybody who has one knows it! There will
be more next year, but as of now, if you are not painfully aware of it, you
don't have 64 bits.
