The latest Worm_MSBlast A gives some unusual tftp files,
so you are right to be cautious. I trust that you have a
fully updated set of virus definitions and that you are
behind a firewall (prefereably not XP's own firewall)?
Check the following. Search your Windows System32
Directory for a file called msblast.exe. If you locate it
you have been infected by the blast worm. For more
details Visit:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w3
2.blaster.worm.html

You also should have downloaded the security update MS03-
026 from the windows update site. Go to control panel and
click on the Add/remove icon. Check the list of updates
to see if 823980 is there. If it is then you are
protected.

Hope this helps
