Desktop Icon Text Background?

[Blowfish]

With the default desktop background, icon text has no background, but with
custom backgrounds, XP always adds a blueish background to the white icon
text.

I currently have a dark background; is there any way to turn off the icon
text background, so there is just the white text with a transparent
background?
