Hello Group,
I am using XP Home Edition and have been using it since it came out, I have
had no problems with XP and IE6 Untill now, I just tried to open "Internet
Options" in the Tools section of Internet Exploror 6, an operation that I
have done MANY times in the past without any trouble, Today when I tried to
open it I got an error message that said "This operation has been cancelled
due to restrictions in effect on this computer, please contact your system
administrator", I am the only user of this computer and have changed nothing
that would remove me as the administrator, anyone have any ideas?, Thank
you.

to resolve this problem you have to find and uncheck a box in your newly
installed "spy bot"

Yes this is the answer but unfortunately I can't remember the whereabots of
the exact box.....
It has something to do with checking Internet Explorer

will get back to you soon.....

I have Spyblaster installed. I was also missing my
homepage options and my control panel options. Open
Spyblaster, click tools, click Misc IE Settings, uncheck
that box and you should have all of the missing stuff
back.
