Due to a number of circumstances, my Pagefile.sys is
removed, due to a crash.
I have managed to do a repair install, but as XP starts it
will, just before it normally starts initiating the
desktop, just show a message saying (translated from
Swedish since I have the Swedish version) "Not enough
virtual memory or incorrect swapfile quota" or something
like that. THis message just flashes by, and then it
reboots. This goes just on and on until I switch the PC
off.
Is there ANYWAY I can fix this, without having to
reinstall a blank copy of XP? I really need the info on
the laptop!!
Is it possible to hook the harddrive up on another machine
and get access to the info, even in the folders that are
not shared?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out here!

Hi Pog,

Boot to Safe mode, disable the VM, then retry starting normally.

To disable, go to the Control Panel/system/advanced tab/performance
settings/advanced tab/Virtual Memory "change". Reverse the steps to reenable
it if your are successful in booting normally.
