I've just updatet my XP, and now when I boot the computer
the message "out of range scan" shows up. I cannot work on
my computer unless i boot in "secure-mode". Has anybody
some suggestions what i can do about this problem?

Hi Arthur,
Sounds like your video settings for normal mode are messed up. Were you
toying with them? Or perhaps a recently installed program changes them upon
startup?
In any case, go to the display settings/settings tab/advanced, reduce the
refresh rate and resolutions.
