Try typing the user name as "Administrator" and leaving
the password blank, unless you or your husband changed
the password at setup this should let you in and if it
dosnt then u should know the password as whoever
installed XP on that computer should have set the
passsword.
If that does not work try the user name "Guest" and
leaving the password blank. If this dos not work try both
user name and password combos in safe mode and if that
does not work then call Windows XP Customer support as i
belieave there is a hidden support username and password
which they can tell u by u telling them your license key,
and if that does not work then i am afraid your only
option is to insert the Windows XP Setup CD before boot
and reinstall Windows XP from scratch, unfortunatly this
will lose all of your documents. If there are any VITAL
documents on there then you or your husband (whoever
knows more about computers) could take the harddrive out
of your computer (the one which is locked) and insert it
as a second in one of the other computers as a second
hard disc (other wise know as a "slave") and upon booting
the computer with 2 hard drives you should be able to go
into my computer and view both the orignal hard drive
from the other computer and the hard drive from your
computer, but there may be some NTFS encryption
preventing you from doing that but hopefully it wont come
to that, use that as an absolute last resort once you can
find no other way of getting into your computer.
Can i recomend printing this for reference incase it
happens again or if it is deleted off this message boad
over time.
