Computer problems

I keep getting the error message "access denied ! please
log in with administrator privelages and try again" when
i try to run a game on my computer

There is only one account on the computer and it is a
computer admin account and the guest account is turned
off.

I get the same message if I try to make another computer
admin account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Microsoft has some good things you should check out here:

Pay particular attention to methods 7, 8, 9 and see if that helps.
Also make sure you have all the updates from http://www.windowsupdate.com I
think there was an update there that addressed something similar.
