I've disabled right-clicking (context clicking), removed
the Recycle Bin, and they still screw things up!! :-)

Can I prevent renaming of icons on desktop, and prevent
them from highlighting them and pressing the Delete key (I
assume this is how they are going missing), or better yet -
can I turn the desktop into a web page maybe that is non-
editable with icons locked into place?

Thanks!

Mike

Have a look around in the group policy snap-in in the MMC. If you apply
active desktop, you can restrict them severly. If the desktop icons are not
required at all, you can completely remove them(also thru MMC) without
active desktop.

Thanks - I may look at the Active Desktop if I can't do it
via the other avenues. I haven't looked into Active
Desktop that deeply yet, but I may have to.

Thanks
