XP Professional

Does anyone know how many licenses comes with the purchase
of Windows XP Professional? I am looking at purchasing XP
Professional for 2 computers but need to find out if I am
going to have to buy 2 different copies or if one copy
will suffice for both computers. Does any one know???

You need two copies (or two licenses). There's nothing new here.
This is exactly the same rule that's been in effect on *every*
version of Windows. The only thing new is that there's now an
enforcement mechanism.

one , they are registered to that computer and any
significant hardware changes and you have to reactivate
it. but that is easy with a internet connection.

although I was looking at the microsoft xp sales info and
there was something about typing in you key number and
buying a another licesnse at a slightly cheaper rate.
