Windows XP Update Problem

Can anyone tell me why I get a Error of "Your product KEY
is invalid." This will not allow me to get MS Windows XP
Updates. I had the computer store "Falcon Computers in
Denver" do a SP1 (30mbp) update on my cpu but I still get
the same error. I checked for updates after the SP1`
update and now I have 8 Windows XP critical updates and
8 windows XP updates, whereas before the update I only had
teh one Windows XP SP1 update, using a dial up. I was
lucky to get any updates after the 30mbps update but maybe
nothing is happening?

You have a pirated version of Windows XP. If you purchaced this
PC from someone I would check with them.
