A pop-up window has started to appear on my machine
called Superbar, offering to remember passwords etc -
similar to the Windows password assistant. However, as
this occurs at for example, internet banking sites, I do
not want this. But I cannot remove the program (not in
the add/remove progs option) or manually delete the
files. Any ideas?

get hold of Lavasoft's Adaware or SpyBot -- both are fre eutilities that
will clean up your computer from these atrocious, annoying background spy
programs that got fdownloaded to your computer.

Cheers for that - I have Ad-aware installed, but had not
realised that this Superbar was a spyware type device.
Running the prog appears to have solved it - thanks!
