I downloaded and installed the security patch to get rid
of the W32.Blaster.Worm virus. Now when I rebooted my
computer, my takbar or desktop icons do not appear. They
appear in safe mode, but not in regular mode. When I
right click on the desktop, it doesn't bring up any
menu. In order to open programs now, I have to
ctrl+alt+del and open them through the task manager. Has
anyone else experienced this? Does anyone else know how
to solve it? I'm running Windows XP Professional and
used the 32-bit patch, as the 64-bit patch would not work.
