Hidden Files

Photos I have taken with my digital camera has hidden
files. To save space on a floppy, would it cause a
problem if I deleted the hidden file?

Is a similar file created by the camera or camera software on every single
disk it uses? Or did a hidden file just pop up on this one disk? I have an
Olympus camera that likes to format its own disks but other than that, I
can add/delete files any way I want to.

Have you checked in the manual for your camera or the help file of your
camera software to see if they mention files that will be created and that
should be left alone?
