How can I tell what service pack is installed on my
computer if there is one??

Right click My Computer and choose Properties. It should display the service
pack level on the General tab.

If you're asking about Windows XP service packs (as opposed to
service packs for particular applications), there's only been
one, SP1. So the question is not *which* service pack, it's
*whether* you have the service pack.

Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties. If SP1 is
installed it will say so there.

You may want to read "Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA)
Version 1.1.1 Is Available"
