Iwas able to open msconfig in safe mode, disabled startup
applications but some are still starting. Can no start
msconfig in gui mode.

any more suggestions?

For the programs that are still starting, open them and check their menus
for a startup option. These types of settings are usually found in menu
sections titled : Options, Preferences, Settings, etc.

May want to check some alternative sites for directions on completely
stopping the worm before applying the fix. A few good places to check:
