Windows Activation

I had the blast virus, but we got it out of the system.
But the moment we rebooted on our home computer, it said
that there was an error checking the licensing for
activation. I run XP:Home if you couldn't tell. Well,
when I click ok to reactivate, the activation window pops
up, but with one issue, in the box where the activation
information is and the button that should say "Activate",
there's nothing there, just a huge white box. Like it is
having trouble loading the activation program. How do I
fix this?
