I attempted to access my regedit.exe to remove leftover
junk and I got a message saying access denied by
administrator. Since I am the only one using the computer
and have myself logged on as admin, how can i enable
access?

Hi Robert,
There is probably a policy on your computer set that restrics use of the
registry editor. The Local Security Policy MMC can be accessed by going to
Start, Run and using "gpedit.msc". Under the "User Configuration",
"Administrative Templates", System you will want to see if the "Prevent
access to registry editing tools" is configured or if some other policy is
configured that prevents you from running regedit.
