Problems downloading Windows XP SP 1

LAst night the Windows XP SP 1 started to install on my
computer. Then, I got the error message, "The server did
not respond!" They also said there was another way to get
the service pack besides the CD. Can you tell me what it
is and how to get this help?

Download/install SP1 directly:

Windows XP Service Pack 1 (direct download)
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/default=

Note: Select "Network Installation" (32-bit)
