I just reformatted my HD and did a clean install of XP.
All is well except that the mouse response seems slow.
For example, when I click on start sometimes nothing
happens, sometimes I have to click two or three times.
I, of course, can't tell if there is a mouse problem or
if XP is busy contemplating its navel or the whereabouts
of Saddam. My system is a Dell Dimension, 866MHz,
Pentium III with 256MB Ram. While it's not the fastest
system in the world, it should always beat this old mouse
clicker.
Any insight would be appreciated, thanks
