Okay, I need help. I have this worm in my system which is
WINDOWS XP-Home edition.

I went to TASK MANAGER and stopped the msblast.exe

I went to WINNT\Prefetch and deleted the executable file.
I also went to WINNT\System 32 folder and deleted the
application.

I rebooted my computer. I tried to go out to
microsoft.com and download the patch but the worm came
back and crashed WINDOWS.

This only happens when I am on-line (dial up modem). Is
there a way to obtain the patch (zipped or stuffed?) and
burn it to a CD? If so, I can download the patch while I
am off-line and should be fixed.

Also, what is the name of the patch file and where is it
located on your site?

Please respond ASAP. It's been three days since I had
this problem and it is annoying.
