Can anyone help me. I have a computer that is on Windows
XP Home. When I start the computer (as it always does),
it will ask to select if I want to run windows XP Home or
windows XP. It defaults to XP Home and opens. After that
the computer starts up normally and when it gets to where
it shows Windows XP Home (and it has that little thingy
that scrolls across) and once it gets half way, the
computer reboots itself in that process and then it gets
me to the screen where it shows the option of
hitting "windows xp home" or "windows xp" and it just
keeps cycling.
(I know it definately is not related to the blaster virus)
I can easily format it, but I need some information that
is on my hard drive.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

With the menu options you describe, it sounds like Windows has been
reinstalled and that you currently have two separate Windows installations
on this computer. What happens if you boot to the other menu choice "windows
xp"? Have you tried booting to Safe Mode yet?
