HELP!!!!

I am working on XP Professional and tried downloading the
info from MICROSOFT. The error message states that
Extraction Failed (xpsplhfm.exe is not a valid Win 32
application). I am at a total loss!!!!!!

You get an error like that when you attempt to install the 64 bit
patch on a 32 bit computer.
You need the 32 bit patch.

I made sure I got the 32 bit patch & I still get the error
message.

Chris;
The only other thing I know that causes that issue is a bad file.
Download again to the hard drive, install on a different floppy.
