I have the worm on my home computer. From what I have
read the first thing I need to do is enable the firewall,
but I need to be logged in as administrator. How do I do
this. I know enough to be dangerous. HELP!
Thanks

If it is your home machine you may be the administrator or in the
admininstrators group.
To check, you can either try to do the directions in the instructions or
check as follows
Right click 'My Computer' off the start button and choose 'Manage'. Then go
to Users and Groups and expand. In Groups you will see the administrators.
Clcik on it and see if you are listed as an admin. If not, who set up the
computer? is there someone else in there that can do it? Try logging in as
adminstrator with no password!

I hope one of these work for you.
Also, you may want to read some of this.
For information on Blaster:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp
For the future, please go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
on the left clidk on personalize windows update. Here you can choose how to
set windows update to automate tasks to the level that you feel comfortable.
You can decide at the time something is available or have it done
automatically.
Mine is always set to automatic on all my home machines.
