Security patch

Several days ago, I loaded the 32 bit security patch to my
computer. I discovered this morning that I cannot log
onto my online secure banking account due to a "revocation
of the security certification." When I spoke with my
banks online help desk, they indicated it was a Microsoft
issue. How do correct this problem?

I appreciate any direction you could provide me in this
matter.
