I'm running XP-pro. I'm trying to use the system backup
utility to save all files + system state to a CD-ROM
drive. (should total about 12gig. I'm assuming the backup
software is intelligent enough to track volume changes.
Anyway, I can't get it to write to the CD. By default, it
is configured to "TYPE - file", and is not selectable (I
can't change it). I can start a backup to
A:/filename.bkp, but that's no good. It would take a
rediculous amount number of diskettes and time.
I do have access to my CD-Drive. I can copy files into
the CD folder and then write them to disk, so I do not
believe permissions are an issue. I've found some info
online regarding RSS. The service is started. I tried
stop/restart, but still no luck. Please help!
Thanks
