"MY COMPUTER / SEARCH WINDOW"

Hi
I have just posted a very similar query. I get exactly
the same problem when clicking on a drive letter or
folder, but only in the right hand panel of Explorer - if
I click on it in the left hand panel, it opens normally.
I also get the same problem when clicking on any shortcut
to open a folder. Maddening! I have searched high and
low for an answer without success.

I can't offer much except sympathy and the hope that the
two of us together may attract a response.
