Heretofore I've been regularily downloading updates
through the automatic updates feature. Today I went to
the MS Updates site and then I get a message saying I
must have a Microsoft Operating System (and I do have
Windows XP)in order to obtain an update. Microsoft has
determined I don't have a MS operating system.

What must I do? Could I have a corrupted "cookie"? How
can I fix this?

Thanks for any help.
