Minimize/Maximize Issue

When I open a program and then minimize it (in XP) I am
no longer able to maximize it. I click on it, at the
bottom of the screen and can get it to work.

Right click on it down there to get a pop-up menu with the Maximize option
(Alt +Tab, then ctrl + M on keyboard). I know this doesn't fix the problem
but hope this helps as an alternative.
