How to fix home computer that is completely locked?

Help! My home computer is completely locked. How can I
repair through using another computer? Thank you! Tara

Try reinstalling XP in the same directory from the CD. This will replace
any corrupted files and or replace any deleted files. If that doesn't work
there are a number of options but I would need to know more about your
configuration...i.e. hoe many hard drives you have, whether your computers
