I'm running Windows XP Home Ed. on a Dell laptop. Somehow
I managed to get PowerReg Scheduler.exe (the program file,
not a shortcut to it) on my desktop. I want to get it
back where it belongs. Where does it go -- i.e., what
folder?
Thanks.

The program is a the mechanism used by many software packages that reminds
you to register your software. Partition Magic and some games are among the
programs that are known to use it. You don't really need it to run Windows
or the software that installed it. It's safe to delete this file.

Thanks. I thought it had something to do with the task scheduler and
I'd somehow dragged it onto my desktop.
