windows update failure

Windows update will not load all the securtiy patches for
Windows XP. I keep getting the same message, that it
failed and I need to reinstall. I have been trying to
download for 3 days. It is not giving me any specific
message other than it failed.

I have about 27 downloads that are critical. I cant
figure out what is wrong!
