hi..my problem is that sometimes when you clear history
in internet options, sometimes an adrs will stay stuck
there..when you hit the scroll arrow it shows nothing,
but if you do "www.h" then maybe hotmail still shows..if
you go to tools & internet options, and go to top where
it says adrs (where you set your home page), and you just
put a "w", all the hidden stuck adrs show..trying to
delete these...anyone have an idea..

Rod,
Wasn't to clear on your question before, but this should do it.
Right click on the desktop IE icon, select 'properties'
Click the 'content' tab. Click 'autocomplete'.
Check/uncheck the options/buttons there. Click 'ok' on settings panel,
'apply' 'ok' on the main panel.
Hope this helps

Hi Rod,
The IE icon (for Internet Explorer) is a blue 'e' with a swooshy kinda loop
thing round it, and should say 'Internet Explorer' under it. Tho some
desktop themes may be whackier than others, that's the 'standard' desktop
icon.
Sometimes, if it has a box in the corner with a curved black arrow inside,
its just a shortcut to IE.
Then you would need to open the program, click 'tools' then 'internet
options' to get to the same place.
Or click 'start' > 'control panel' > 'internet options'.
There's usually more than one way to skin a cat with Windows.
Hope this helps further.
