figured out IE is internet explorer...got properties and
content and autocomplete...now shows only "clear
autocomplete history", and probably shud do "clear
forms"..is that what you meant
about "check/uncheck...anyway also unchecked "web
addresses"...but either way, after doing that and hitting
ok, the "apply" button doesnt hilite as available..it
just goes back to the "content" window saying ok or
cancel, but doesnt allow apply...any ideas
thks

OK and Apply do the same thing as far as locking in settings. Apply will
leave the configuration dialog window open. OK will close it. So using OK
instead of Apply should work out just fine. After making changes to Internet
Explorer's settings, close any open browser windows as the changes won't
take effect until you relaunch the program.
