domain/workgroup options

I loaded WinXP Pro on my home machine, and right now my
network is a Workgroup.
How do I get the security tab in objects properties to
show as if I was on a Domain?
Also how can I make it so that I can have a regular sign-
on like the one that that appears as if I was on a Domain?

You cannot create a domain using WinXP Pro, but you can join a domain. You
must have a server edition of Windows running in your network to have a
domain. Without this, there will be no domain.
