Hi
I'm unable to set 1 of 3 ISP dialup firewalls using the
process described in the Aug 18 "What you should know about
the blaster worm" - I was in the process of switching
providers when the worm infected my computer. The process
to enable the firewall worked just fine on the other 2. I
have not completed the other 3 of 4 steps for home users.
winver reported "Ver 5.1 .... xpsp1 build date .... Service
Pack 1." I dont have the full version information with me
at the moment.
I get to the "change settings of this connection", but
clicking here results in no action. Rebooting does not
cure this. The box next to the "change settings" link has
a red check-mark in it.
What should I do to get beyond this obstacle?
