Proxy server doesn't work

I configured the LAN proxy server setting : PROXYSRV and
port 80 in internet option window for Windows XP. After
the configuration, I can't reach any web page. It seem I
lost connection, But I checked LAN is connected(I use
cable connection).

Do you actually have a proxy server running on your network ??
If so then start there
