Windows Product Activation

I missed the 30-day activation period to activate Windows
XP on my new computer. Now when I try to log on, it
says "Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you
can log on." And then it logs me off. HELP!!! How can
it activate it if I can't log on!!?!?!?!?

I tried booting up in safe mode and reinstalling XP, but I
get the same results.

Any ideas?

When you load windows it should give you an option to
activate but if it doesn't format the drive or delete the
partition and then reload windows. That should get you
another 30 days to activate.
