I have installed xp service pack 1a (it says so in my
add/remove programs list but I have an unknown account
user. I checked the version of
12-Dec-2001 18:54 5.1.2600.22 532,992 Msobmain.dll
19-Oct-2001 10:20 169,576 Msobshel.htm
and sure enough, the dll says verison 5.1.2600.1160 in
the windows\..\.. and my backup driver list. Can I
correct this without reinstalling xp sp1a. Also, if I
reinstall the service pack, what happens to all my
recently added updates and/or any other changes I will
not be happy about?
