Can't access secure folders

My XP crashed so I reinstalled on another partition. My
data is still on the other partition but some folders
were secure and I cannot access those folders.

I also wanted to repair my original windows installation
but it request a password and I don't recall assigning
one and have tried all of my typical passwords but none
work.

Is there a way to access the secure data from the other
partition and is there a default password?
