I am having the same problem as Tim B. posted on Aug 16.
Windows update goes through the whole process but does
not download any data. I have re-installed Windows XP,
but it has not helped.
I am using a homemade system. Giga-byte 7vtxe mobo, AMD
2000+ processor, and 512 megs ram.
