My computers registry has been changed / corrupted.
The error occurred when I turned off the pc as the
administrator when the shut down process froze.
When I load up my pc and I get into the logon screen for
the various different users I get messages saying that XP
recovered a previous version of the registry from 2
different sources.
This error comes up twice.
I can log on as per normal for any user except the System
Admin User, where I get the same message again. The
system then starts to load up then hangs (desk top icons
are background load up).
No other accounts have system admin status.
The errors continue to appear after a successful shut
down of a non system admin user account.
How can I correct this?
