In my user accounts I have one called ASP.net machine................. it is
limited account, I have not set this up, is it important or can I delete it.

Another program may have created that account to accompany its software. You
should be able to delete it without any ill effects.

It looks menacing doesnt it! but its actually just a component of dot.net
framework or such like which is fine- altough you can delete it with no
after effects (I did when I first saw it!)

The profile ASP.net machine was created by the .net passport program. Yes,
you can delete it. you might want to save the files though. I hope this
helps.

Hi,
That account was created when you installed the .net framework update. You
can safely delete it.

When/If .Net enabled programs are installed you need it. It was created by a
..Net update you installed.
