I installed the service pack 1A, and since then have not
been able to get any further windows updates due to the
IPSec Services error 615. As soon as I go into windows
update and ask it to scan for needed updates, Windows
security signs me off due to a security failure audit. I
am able to do selective downloads, such as Adobe Acrobat
Reader, but the windows updates have consistently failed
in the same place.
My computer has been offline since April. I tried to get
this service pack and the security for the recent worm
before doing the other updates, since they were the most
urgent.
How do I get my computer to do downloads correctly
again?
